A faith-led organisation born in the heart of Gulu, anchored in purpose, reaching the world.
Hope Anchor Tech was founded on the conviction that technology is not a privilege, it is a tool of liberation. Inspired by James 2:17 "Faith without works is dead" our founder Reagan Wokorach set out to demonstrate that faith without action changes nothing, but faith backed by skill and service can transform lives.
Based in Gulu Municipality, Northern Uganda, Hope Anchor Tech was established to address the widening digital divide in the region. We saw young people, single parents, job-seekers, and community members locked out of economic opportunity simply because they lacked access to digital skills and services. We decided to do something about it.
We operate as a social enterprise: our corporate and professional service fees subsidise entirely free foundational training for vulnerable community members. No one is turned away because they cannot pay. And while our roots are in Gulu, our services are available to anyone anywhere in the world, online.
"Our anchor is Christ. Our works are tech. Our mission is people."Reagan Wokorach, Founder & CEO
To equip individuals and communities in Northern Uganda and around the world through accessible, high-quality technology education and professional services, anchored in Christian values and driven by measurable social impact.
A world where every person, regardless of background, geography, or economic status, possesses the digital skills to participate confidently in the modern economy and fulfil their God-given potential.
Reagan Wokorach is a technology professional and social entrepreneur with over 5 years of hands-on experience in institutional data labeling, having worked with global AI and machine learning firms including Samasource Uganda. He combines deep technical expertise with a profound faith commitment and a burning passion for community development in Northern Uganda.
His experience at Samasource Uganda's Gulu Branch, one of East Africa's pioneering AI delivery centres gave him first-hand knowledge of how technology can create dignified employment in post-conflict communities. This experience directly shaped the vision for Hope Anchor Tech.
Reagan holds a Diploma in Information Technology from Cavendish University Uganda and is an active member of the Christian community in Gulu. He believes that the greatest technology transfer is not hardware or software, it is skill, confidence, and opportunity given to a person who was told they had none.
Hope Anchor Tech is not limited to Gulu, Northern Uganda, or even to Uganda. While our physical base and our heart are in Gulu, we deliver all our services online to students, businesses, NGOs, and partners across Africa and beyond.
Whether you need remote training, a website built, a CV reviewed, or support with an AI data labeling project, we can serve you wherever you are in the world.
